Natural Colors

Sebagai pembuat sabun, menghasilkan sabun berkualitas dengan bahan-bahan sealami mungkin adalah tantangan.  Karena pada saat pembuatan sabun, kondisi proses yang alkalin membuat beberapa pewarna alami berubah warna seperti buah bit dan bunga rosella. Warna merah cantik mereka berubah jadi coklat :).  Tapi ada beberapa bahan yang tahan di kondisi alkalin seperti bayam dan seledri untuk warna hijau, activated charcoal dan bubuk kopi untuk warna abu-abu sampai hitam, paprika bubuk untuk warna kuning-oranye, Bubuk Coklat dan Madu untuk warna coklat dan Titanium Dioxide (mineral) untuk warna putih. Titanium dioxide ini juga berfungsi sebagai natural sunscreen.

1.  Sabun ini menggunakan bubuk pegagan, clorofil dan activated charcoal. Ingredients : Coconut oil, Palm Oil, Soyabean Oil, Sunflower Oil, Seaweed, Gotukola powder, Clorofi powder, Activated Charcoal, Peppermint and Nutmeg Essential Oil

2.  Sedangkan ini menggunakan bubuk pegagan dan bubuk coklat. Ini Bastille Soap: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Chocolate powder, Gotukola powder, unscented. Tanpa penambahan pewangi untuk kulit sensitif

The ingredients for this soap are my regular coconut oil, palm oil and rice bran oil.  The fragrances are supposed to be insect reppelant :peppermint EO, Lemongrass EO and Citronella EO.

Melt and Pour Soaps

This is a fun project and safe enough to do with kids. All you have to do is melt the soap base, add

fragrance and colour, pour into the mold. That's it.

Ingredients : Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Glycerin, Water and Sodium Hydroxide

How to make seaweed soap

1.  This is dried seaweed

2.  Soak seaweed in water for three days. Change the water everyday

3.  Puree the seaweed and freeze it

4.  Prepare the frozen seaweed and lye

5.  Pour the lye slowly into the frozen seaweed, mix it

6.  Pour the lye-seaweed solution into oil

7.  Stickblend it

8.  Pour into the mold

9.  Wait  for at least 8 hours :)
